Auditions for Burlesque Nutcracker

There’s still a couple roles available in the annual “Bur-Less-Q” Nutcracker! You can even audition for the role of the Velvet Kittens artistic director “Jana” character.
This holiday favorite is also an National award winner.

The Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque received Readers’ Choice Award for Burlesque!
Thanks to all our amazing performers who have taken the stage, our wonderful and supportive audience for nominating us, and our Burlesque Body Sculpt™ performace students who have participated in one of our shows.
Though we have recently left the venue our shows and classes have been housed at over the years, we will continue to provide our vintage nightclub entertainment and classes throughout DFW and beyond!

November Burlesque Classes

For the past five years our classes were held at Arts Fifth Avenue in Fort Worth. While we loved our time there, we are extremely excited about our new dance home. Please help us spread the word as we bring our classes back to Dallas.
Burlesque Body Sculpt Dance Party

We’re celebrating our move to a new studio for burlesque classes by throwing a good old fashion Burlesque Dance Party!
Join us this Saturday at House of Funk for snacks, drinks, and some burlesque dancing. Please rsvp through our Facebook located on our BBS page or call 972-247-6735. It’s BYOB…bring your own boa! We will have some boas available if you need one, just let us know so we are sure to have enough available.
Rate: $25 per person. Special discount: bring a friend (or more) and receive discounted rate of $15 per person.
What to wear: Workout clothing, and shows optional. Most dancers wear socks or barefoot, dance and athletic shoes are recommeded as options.
If you are unable to make this Burlesque Body Sculpt™ Dance Party, don’t worry! We will be throwing em every couple of months!

Burlesque in Fort Worth

You can catch our Burlesque Body Sculpt™ Level 3 performance students headlining this upcoming burlesque show in Fort Worth!
Burlesque Body Sculpt™ Level 3 is our most advanced level performance group. Each member of this group has spent years training in the BBS program, performed in multiple Velvet Kittens shows as BBS performers, as well DFW appearances and charity shoes. Level 3 consists of online classes and group rehearsal and instruction.
All BBS classes and workshops are choreographed by VK’s very own artistic director/choreographer, the creator of the BBS programs and it’s stylized dance training.
