Welcome to “December Dance Fit†Week at the Bombshell Dance Studio located in Fort Worth, Texas! From Monday, December 26th – Friday, December 30th we are offering 45-minute intro dance technique and dance-fitness classes to help you get a jump-start on your New Year’s resolutions!Â
Whether you are looking to get in shape, try something new, or re-visit a long lost passion, “December Dance Fit†week is the perfect opportunity to trial some of the classes offered at the Bombshell to find your right “fit†prior to registering for our January session…and at a discounted rate!
Each class is $10.00 plus tax; cash only. Students must rsvp in advance. *Classes without the minimum of student reservations may be cancelled.

Velvet Kittens at the Lakewood Theater!

The Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque will be performing in Ricki Derek’s annual holiday show A Merry Little Christmas Show III, a new/old school holiday show featuring Ricki Derek and his Orchestra.
In it’s 3rd year of “pepperminttasticness” Ricki Derek’s A Merry Little Christmas Show returns to the historic Lakewood Theater in Dallas on Saturday, December 17th at 9:00 pm for one night. This show is designed to make you forget the stress of the holidays, get your feet tappin’, and your face smiling. It’s a tip of the hat to the great holiday TV specials the Sinatra, Bing, and Dino used to do. So come with bells on and Ring-A-Ding,Ding. This year’s Dallas show sponsored by Sfuzzi!

We want to thank everyone who came out last night to our annual charity show Candyland! A Night of Sweets! We would also like to thank the Bombshell Dance Studio students and the Burlesque Body Sculpt ™ students from both Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as the Velvet Kitten cast for making last night’s show a success.

Our Nutty Nutcracker on Nightline Segment!

Not only has The Beulaville Baptist Book Club Presents: A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker, otherwise known as the “Burlesque Nutcracker,†been nominated for the 2011 “Nutty†Award but it will also be featured on ABC’s late-night television news program Nightline!
The Goldsat National Nutcracker Award (aka the “Nutty”) is an annual contest of Nutcracker productions in the nation. Each nominated Nutcracker is chosen “for being one of the most beloved Nutcrackers in the country.â€
The “Burlesque Nutcracker†is written by Mark-Brian Sonna, and choreographed by the Velvet Kittens’ very own artistic director/choreographer Jana Edele and Mark-Brian Sonna of MBS Productions, and features it’s own Velvet Kittens cast!

The Beulaville Baptist Book Club Presents: A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker!

Are you tired of the typical Holiday shows? Come check ours out! The women of the Beulaville Baptist Book Club are in dire straits financially, and as a last ditch attempt to save their book club they decide to do a fundraiser and hire the Beaumont Ballet to perform Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcrackerâ€. Madge’s Piña Colada Casserole unfortunately sickens the entire cast with food poisoning and they are unable to perform. Luckily, there is another dance troop in town. It seems the Velvet Kittens Burlesque Dancers are stuck in Beulaville because their van broke down on their way to New Orleans. Madge has never heard of Burlesque, or as she pronounces it “Bur-less-Qâ€, and in an act of necessity hires the dance troupe to do “The Nutcrackerâ€. The end result? The most original, unusual, and comical Nutcracker you have ever seen!

For the month of December, we’re changing it up! Dec. 1st – 10th is our “Intro Teaser Mini-Session,†featuring 45-minute dance technique and dance-fitness classes for only $10.00 per class! We’re offering FOUR different fun Holiday Workshops beginning Dec. 10th – 23rd! From burlesque to strip tease in our Vixen Series dance workshops to our Un Noel Coquin Lap Dance Workshop, you are sure to find one holiday dance that will rock your Christmas tree. And Dec. 26th – 31st is our “December Dance Fit†week. Join us for the last week of December as we introduce new dance-fitness classes to our curriculum. Our instructors will be on hand to help devise a dance workout program custom made for you!
