Cirque de Amore (2006)
Cirque de Amore was the first production under the Le Cabaret Burlesque name in 2006. Cirque de Amore was an original theatrical-musical (written by Jana Edele and Daniel Totten with contributions by Mark-Brian Sonna) centering around the performers in a vaudevillian-burlesque house. Featuring live music by the Tritones, burlesque dancing by the Golddiggers, comical vaudevillian skits, and plenty hilarious antics by the leading actors, Cirque de Amore brought the craziness of the backstage show biz life to front of the stage. Cirque de Amore was also the LCB debut of Mark-Brian Sonna as leading man “Johnny Johnson.” Cirque de Amore was choreographed and directed by Jana Edele, with musical direction under Daniel Totten.
