Bump ‘n Grind Burlesque Halloween Costumes!

As a Kitten keeping her promise, here are some delectable burlesque Halloween costuming tips from the VK.
Proposal #6: The bump €˜n grind diva!
Duplicating stripping stars of the past, here are some suggestions to achieve that Gypsy Rose Lee panache!
Kitten Tip 1 - G-strings and pasties, if you feel daring enough, is the final costuming for the stripper on stage. There are several stores in which to find these, but our ultimate recommendation is Electrique Boutique for all your burlesque costuming needs.
Kitten Tip 2 - Needing a little more coverage to feel comfortable? No prob! Here's your cheat sheet! Find a two piece made for stripping (yes, this will be a g-string bottom). It can dangle, shimmer, or sparkle…whatever strikes your fancy! Next step is finding a "base" bra and panty that matches in color. We suggest a brief for the bottom…you'll want to make sure all your "bases" are covered! Now, just put on your base, and apply the costuming over it. Tada! Instant Bump €˜n Grind Diva!
Technically the true bump €˜n grind stripper has lost all her clothing on the stage, but its Halloween! What's the point if you don't get the fun extras to play with? For low-priced accessories try costume stores first…more feather for your bump!
Kitten play toys we advocate (check previous posts on burlesque Halloween costuming for more details on where to purchase items):
Fishnets! Boas! Gloves! Lashes! Glitter!
Other props: Fans!
Feathered fans can get pretty pricey, here's a recipe for do-it-at-home fan making!
What you need: Cardboard, paint, feathers, glue.
Cut cardboard to size of fans you would like! Paint the cardboard to match the feathers. Glue the feathers! Your local Hobby Lobby should have all these materials on hand.
Proposal #7: Be your own Designer
Perhaps some of these prices are a bit out of your range, or you want something with a little more of your own flair. Kitten suggestion: Do-it-yourself!
What you'll need 1st: Matching bra and panty. We suggest clearance or Walmart for cost efficiency. Next, you'll need bits and pieces of finesse! In this Kitten costume, feathers, silver glitter glue, and Christmas beads were added. Can't sew well? Simply get a glue gun! Don't forget….let your creation set overnight before wearing.
Hopefully this will give you a good start if you’re still searching for that purrfect burlesque halloween costume! If not, we’ll be back tomorrow morning with last minute suggestions!
